Steve Forbes weighed in this week on the dismissal of charges against the Oklahoma 3. In his Forbes magazine column, Forbes applauded the dropping of charges but noted that those with political power still win when the system allows them to harass citizen activists and distract them from their missions.
Edmondson in all likelihood knew this [...]

There was a super editorial in yesterday’s The Oklahoman, giving Randy Brogdon’s I&R-reform bills a nice push. (The piece also mentions Edmondson dropping the prosecution of the OK-3.)
Paul reminds us that we must keep in mind that we haven’t won a complete victory in Oklahoma until the initiative process is opened up.

The good press coverage continues to come in, following AG Drew Edmondson’s dismissal of all charges against the Oklahoma 3.
There was a very good piece at a high-traffic blog, Hot Air. In the post, Ed Morrissey writes:
The AG should have to answer for his Javert-like pursuit of obviously unconstitutional laws to persecute three people whose [...]

Back in November, on the day of Paul’s preliminary hearing, Paul released a statement to the media via email. Soon afterwards, a spam complaint from OETA (the Oklahoma Educational Television Authority) to Hostica caused the company to shut down the Citizens in Charge website. Well, they did it again!
When Paul’s statement in response to yesterday’s [...]

A super editorial appeared in yesterday’s Arkansas Democrat-Gazette, defending Paul (and, more generally, the First Amendment) and calling AG Drew Edmondson a “zealot” and “a bully with considerable power, a high state office, and more ambition than respect for the rights of others.”
The Sunday lead editorial read in part:
This indictment has been hanging over the [...]
